Some KDE apps would do better in Windows-world if they were individualized. A typical windows user, in my opinion, doesn't download a name of a project to try a bunch of apps. He wants a browser, or an editor, or... 

The kdewin-installer-gui is too all-in-one for this.

Not that I want it gone, no way, I like it *thumbs up* to check out how the kde on windows project has come.

But I think a lot more people will try "Konqueror" or "Kate", if they are able to do the following:

When I go to http://www.konqueror.org/ I should be able to download a standalone .exe that contains all files needed to install konqueror, like I would install Firefox or so.

Sure, a link to the "Getting KDE" should also be added, and a warning that it's all in a experimental state...

The standalone installer should have a update-check function to see if your installer is up-to-date :)

If the user chooses to download the all-in-one installer later, it should see all the standalone apps.

(maybe a promotional text and link about the kdewin-installer-gui before you click Finish)

I've submitted this report as an bug because i think it is the GREATEST bug on the windows platform concerning KDE :)

PS: If the KDE team already planned to do this in the future, I apologize for not being able to sit still (and type a ton of crap on your bug reporting system) :) keep up the good word people :)
