Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

KDcopy loaded. Disk to be copied loaded into tray. Clicked on DVD copy - crash message appeared. Removed and re-installed K9copy, with same result. Previously used K9copy without experiencing this problem.

Sorry, but we do not develop k9copy.
You should report the issue to its developers.
