Description Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2009-05-02 01:36:21 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

If you right-click an entry in the places panel, dolphin enters it and displays its content. This is especially annoying when you right-click on a removable medium: Dolphin will mount it each and everytime...

Which version/revision are you using? I cannot reproduce on trunk r962364.
Comment 2 Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2009-05-02 13:37:38 UTC
I noticed that this only occurs, if you have the Qt GUI effects enabled.
They can be enabled through "qtconfig" in the Interface tab.
Comment 3 FiNeX 2009-05-02 14:01:38 UTC
Ok, enabling effects from qtconfig, I've reproduced the bug...
Comment 4 Dario Andres 2009-05-02 17:37:34 UTC
Here using:

Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy 958974)
KDE: 4.2.71 (KDE 4.2.71 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090428))
kdelibs svn rev. 960693 / kdebase svn rev. 960693
on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.1

I can also reproduce in the file dialog. So this is a bug in the Places View. Reassigning to KFile
Comment 5 Peter Penz 2009-05-02 17:58:25 UTC
This is an issue in Qt, I've submitted a bug report to Qt Software some time ago: http://www.qtsoftware.com/developer/task-tracker/index_html?id=206637&method=entry
Comment 6 Nate Graham 2018-06-15 04:31:22 UTC
Is this still relevant or applicable with Qt 5.10.x or KDE Frameworks 5.47?
Comment 7 FiNeX 2018-06-15 09:18:42 UTC
Hi, I cannot reproduce the bug using latest QT/KDE Framework. We can close this.

Thanks!
