Description Arne Babenhauserheide 2009-05-01 10:11:24 UTC
Version: 1.11.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-gentoo-r8

I often work under considerable load, and often I just want to say "send outbox now".

kmail then first shows the outbox, which can take some time when your computer is in massive overload :)

For that I would prefer having a right-click not show the folder contents (or having an option to specify the right-click behaviour). When I right-click I only want to see the right-click menu.

This is also useful for simply saying "mark all as read" and "delete all", because showing a folder with a massive amount of messages can take quite some time.

Best wishes,
Arne

Agreed. The "Mark all as read" use case is the one that I found myself here for.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
