Description Christoph Dalski 2009-04-30 17:04:13 UTC
Version: 0.9.2 (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

Hi,

i edited my vocabulary file and added some new lessons and started to add vocabularies.
Then - out of nothing - the keyboard didn't work any longer in parley - other applications worked well. So i thought i should just save the file and restart the application.
So i saved the file, restarted the application and - nothing! There is the first entry which tells me there's a lesson with 0 vocabularies.

If i try to open the file with KWordQuiz it says "The file reader failed".

I pasted the file here: http://paste.ubuntuusers.de/394968/

Maybe this information might be usefull, too.
I'm using archlinux with ibus from the aur pakages.

Please help me out, thanks and regards.
Chris

Same here with version 0.9.2svn on OpenSUSE 11.1, KDE 4.2.95 though I don't remember I've experienced the keyboard problem. Opening a file after editing and saving it, Parley doesn't display any words, lessons, word-types etc.

I cannot open a kvtml-file saved (and can be opened) by Parley with KVoctrain either. It complains about invalid xml file header.
The version I'm using is installed as parley-4.2.95-75.7.x86_64.rpm from OpenSUSE KDE4 Factory repo.

I can open the attached file in latest parley from kde sc 4.11.2, so I guess it was fixed.
