Description Elliott Baron 2009-04-29 20:32:17 UTC
Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When using XML output, Valgrind reports errors in suppression files (e.g. file can't be opened, syntax errors) after the full XML document has been output and not part of the XML itself. This means the errors won't be picked up by an XML parser and can lead the parser crashing if it expects the log file to be entirely XML.

The XML output system is in the process of being overhauled,
so as to fix this and other problems. See in particular,
comment #4 on https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191189

Closing this now as it is essentially a duplicate of #191189.
Not an exact duplicate, but the fix to that bug should also fix
this one.
