I think the question would be whether Konsole actually *knows* if there is any whitespace at the end of the line. But if it can, then I agree this would make a good improvement, making Konsole an more practical graphical terminal emulator. I've been using Mac OS X for a couple of years now, in stead of KDE 3 (on FreeBSD and Linux) and I can honestly say that Konsole is the one app I miss the most. This has been fixed in 4.2.3 and 4.3. There is another BKO for a similar issues in Konsole's history. Wow, that's quick! Confirmed after my upgrade to 4.2.3, thank you very much |
