In KMail from KDE 3 it was possible to add filters to the toolbar.  In KDE 4 a bug prevents this.

Reproducibility: Always

Steps to reproduce:

1. Settings->Configure Filters…
2. Create a new filter named Foobar.  In the Advanced tab, make sure that "Additionally add this filter tothe toolbar" is checked.
3. OK
4. Settings->Configure Toolbars…
5. Toolbar->Main Toolbar <kmail_part>
6. Select "Filter Foobar" from the "Available actions" list
7. Press the right-arrow button to add the filter to the "Current actions" list.
8. Apply

Observed behaviour:
9. The icon for the Foobar filter momentarily appears in the toolbar, and then disappears.

Expected behaviour:
9. The icon for the Foobar filter should appear in the toolbar and stay there.  When clicked, it should execute the Foobar filter.

I have discovered that this bug occurs only when using KMail within Kontact.  When launching KMail separately, filter icons appear in the toolbar as expected.

Bug still occurs in KDE 4.2.3.

Yes, bug still occurs in KDE 4.4.0.
