When I set the type of my activity from "Desktop" to "Folder View", I can no longer add additional panels as that was offered only by the desktop containment context menu.
IMHO, it should - like the "Add Widget" button - also be available from the cashew at the top right, which would both make things more consistent and allow to add panels when using another containment.
