Version: revision 958061 (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

I recently installed kde 4.3 trunk. I noticed that in konversation, we can't configure notification as when I open settings->configure notifications, the list is empty. This used to work in 4.2.2.

My guess is that you forgot to do "make install".

@Eike: I've used magic script from http://kdesvn-build.kde.org/ to build and install whole trunk. If it didn't install then how come I can run konversation :)

I was referring to Konversation, not KDE. Plenty of people try running Konversation directly from the build dir, rather than install it properly. Without installing, the file containing the descriptions of the notification events likely won't be found. IOW, you need to install to a prefix covered by $KDEDIR/$KDEDIRS. Or at least place the file (konversation.notifyrc) in the right place in $KDEHOME; that might work, too.

If you did, then I don't know what is causing your problem, sorry. It does work fine here.

I just realized my mistake. I was running konversation of 4.2.2 build. Not sure why it wasn't installed with trunk.
