Description Dave Ulrick 2009-04-24 02:07:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 4.3.2 20081105 (Red Hat 4.3.2-7)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

In knetwalk 3.0.0 as shipped with KDE 4.2.2, multiple stray pixels sometimes appear while the rotation of a puzzle piece is animated. The pixels move in sync with the animation (their relative locations compared to the rotating piece remain constant). The pixels disappear once the animation has finished. The problem occurs with both Default and Electronic themes. The pixels appear to be whitish in color.

Expected behavior: the rotation animation should occur without stray pixels, as with knetwalk as shipped with KDE 4.2.1.

I can confirm. The pixels aren't visible at smaller sizes, but become quite obvious at larger ones. When playing a game of Easy in a maximised window they're pretty hard to miss.
Comment 2 Dave Ulrick 2009-08-26 01:11:34 UTC
The bug is still present in KDE 4.3.0 (Fedora 10).
Comment 3 Markus 2009-08-30 19:36:23 UTC
I think it's not a bug in KDE, but in QT 4.5 as I experienced it the first time when I upgraded my QT version.
Comment 4 Frederik Schwarzer 2010-04-19 15:48:29 UTC
This also appears in KDE 4.2.2 with Qt 4.6.2.
Comment 5 Yogesh Marwaha 2013-02-15 15:37:13 UTC
On KDE 4.10 with Qt 4.8.4 (openSUSE 12.2 x86-64), I am unable to notice it.
Comment 6 Christoph Feck 2013-02-26 12:04:19 UTC
Cannot reproduce either, closing.
