I like Andale, but moving to KDE 4.2.2 it is not available as a shell font, even though it is installed on the system (Kubuntu Jaunty RC).

I see Andale Mono in the font selection dialog with KDE trunk and Qt 4.5.  Do you see Andale in the dialog which appears when in Konsole you go to:

1.  Settings -> Edit Current Profile
2.  Appearance tab
3.  Edit Font

I'm on Jaunty as well.  It shows up in Konsole.  Have you tried looking in Kmail/Kate/Konq or any other KDE app?

Is your Jaunty up to date?

KDE 4.2.2 and KDE 4.3 both have it.

Not a problem with 4.2.3 on Jaunty.
