Hello!

On Yahoo IM if I want to send a file to a person who is invisible I can't, the 'Send File' button is disabled! If I remember correctly on KDE 3.5.x this was possible!

Thanks

Enable sending files to invisible contacts (Yahoo)

Hi,

The fix for this was trivial, it seems that Kopete disables sending files if a contact is or appears to be offline. Here's the diff of the modifications made to the source code. Because I don't know about the other protocols, in this patch I check if the contact's protocol is Yahoo. If you think that it is safe to send files to all offline contacts on every protocol please remove the check made there.

Please note that this is my very first patch to a KDE project, if I made something wrong don't hesitate to correct me :)

Thanks for the patch, Ovidiu. If possible, please use https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/ to submit patches. They get easily lost in this bug tracker.

Hello from the KDE Bugsquad!

Unfortunately, Yahoo has discontinued the Yahoo Messenger service, and the code has been removed from Kopete.

Thus, I am closing this bug as "UNMAINTAINED" since it will no longer be fixable, or able to operate due to Yahoo.
