I just noticed that exactly this functionality is already present in Dolphin. Perhaps the same code can be used for all tables? The default behaviour on column views is to resize only the resized column, not the others. I've just checked the system monitor and other software. When I move the handle between the "CPU" and "memory" column in system view to the right, the CPU column is increased in size while at the same time, the memory column is decreased in size. This is with KDE 4.2.4 on Kubuntu 9.04. I'm sorry if changing the status is not what I should do, but I hoped to provide the requested information in the last comment. This is a video of the current behaviour in trunk (and Qt 4.5.2). Is what you want?
Yes, it is - thank you very much :) |
