Amarok crashes even if option "Import downloaded covers" is unchecked. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 174269 *** I've figured out the root of my problem: during migration from kubuntu 8.10 to kubuntu 9.04 I've remount partition with music collection files in another way. was: /media/data/Music/... became: /media/Data/Music/... So the data in amarok 1.4 db became incorrect. I've installed amarok 1.4 from PPA rebuilt collection with proper path and then reinstall amarok 2.1beta And now amarok had automatically detected and rescanned it without any manually importing. Does this also happens if you start Amarok from Konsole as "amarok -graphicssystem native" ? (the backtrace is indeed related to style painting , and: #12 0x00007f2ab61967c8 in QRasterPaintEngine (this=0x2242af0, device=0x1ab6) makes me doubt about the raster graphics engine being used by default) Thanks 2Darío Andrés: I can not reproduce it because crash happend during collection import from confused DB. BTW I am doubt that Qt in kubuntu was build with --raster and there is no such information here: https://launchpad.net/~apachelogger/+archive/staging Using opensource radeon driver if it matters. Guys, still, this is a duplicate bug for importing the database from 1.4.x, so please take your discussion there: #174269. No need to keep two strings open and bloat the bugs count unnecessarily. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 174269 *** |
