digikam crashes when trying to load my images into albums. It starts fine if I use an empty directory as my default location for images.

The output is as follows:

There is no directory called "Sony" on my laptop.

And another one relevant of Exiv2.

Please update to last stable Exiv2 0.18.1. libkexiv2, digiKam and kipi-plugins need to be recompiled.

To Ubuntu packagers : Please update repository...

For info. we have recieve 5 crash reports in few day with Debian distro. All are fixed with 0.18.1

I've been following the reports here. It looks like these are all caused by Exiv2 bug http://dev.exiv2.org/issues/show/615, which was originally reported as digiKam bug #182738 but I can't explain this surge of such reports.

Fixed with bug #189982
