In the configuration dialog, the text on the tab handles is written over the icons.

Do you experience this in another tabbed applications? (like Konqueror)
Does still happens if you change your widget style to something else ? (Oxygen, or Plastique)

I tried Oxygen and Plastique and it does not happen with those styles. Only with laOra-Qt, which is default in Mandriva 2009.1 which was not even released yet.

Sorry, I see now that it was an immature bug report.

With laOra-Qt, yes.

If it is only happening on the Mandrive own theme you should report it to Mandriva, so they can fix their theme (Qt4.5 had some changes related to tabs)
