Description Christof Schulze 2009-04-18 13:28:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: FreeBSD
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports

kmail takes a long time to display gpg signed and also gpg encrypted emails.
I believe this is due to gpg being use synchronously.
It would be nice if the mail was displayed in a quick way and then the signature check would be deferred until after the user can read it.

So if it takes 3 seconds to check the signature the user can already read the mail.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
