Description bulls_i3 2009-04-18 12:43:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

After doing some window operations, e.g. resizing, minimizing, etc, kwin leaves some "window lines" behind. I'm not sure what those lines are (they're the same lines you see if you enable the Desktop Effect called "Show paint", but without the colors).

Nothing crashes, and the lines go away if i "clear" that area (e.g. dragging a window over it, or toggling the Expose effect).

I'm using FC10, with an FC9 Kernel (2.6.25.10-86.fc9.i686.PAE), NVidia linux driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-177.82, and I have many compiz effects enabled.

I also have a screenshot, but it seems this bugtracker doesn't support attaching.

Thanks.

Do you have the blur effect enabled? If so does it still occur when it is disabled?

Yes the blur effect is enabled. I have disabled it now. Will test for the rest of the day and update.

If the bug is related to the blur effect, where do i report?

Thanks
