I concur that this is happening, though I am using KDE 4.2 on suse 11.1. Where in the svn repository is the knetworkmanager code located? branches/work/knetworkmanager/knetworkmanager-0.7. I probably won't work on fixing this now, NM-kde4 is taking all my time. Feel free to valgrind it, there should be plenty of easy fixes. I'm having trouble compiling this version of knetworkmanager. The INSTALL file says to use autoconf to generate the configure file, but there is no configure file present, and the configure.in.in file generates an error: configure.in.in:6: error: m4_defn: undefined macro: _m4_divert_diversion configure.in.in:6: the top level autom4te: /usr/bin/m4 failed with exit status: 1 Can you give any hints about how to successfully generate the Makefile? Look up old KDE 3 building documentation on developer.kde.org. In short make -f Makefile.cvs (calls autoconf etc) ./configure --prefix=... <other options> make make install. Closing this bug as I won't work on it, if you still want to, reopen and assign to yourself. |
