Description alexandr 2009-04-18 08:40:51 UTC
Version: 2.2.2 (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

The information about opened tabs in a profile of program "konsole" does not remain. In KDE3 it works.
I open 6 tabs and save profile with name "myprofile".
After I start konsole the command "konsole - profile myprofile", the information on tabs both their fonts and colour is restored.
It seems to me that it is very useful possibility.

Hi alexandr,

The meaning of 'profile' changed between KDE 3 and KDE 4, which I appreciate will cause some confusion. In KDE 3 a profile is a saved set of 'tabs' with certain properties. In KDE 4 a 'profile' is a set of settings which can be used when opening a new tab or window or applied to an existing tab.

There is another bug report about adding a feature to be able to save and restore tabs (other than the save/restore which happens when you log-out and then back in) so I'll mark this as invalid for now.
