Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

It is usual to be able to configure laptops to susspend or hibernate when closed. There appears to be no way to configure this behavious in the KDE system settings.

Do not you have the "Power Management" option in the Advanced tab on System Settings. ? There you will find power profiles and actions for every one of them.
Thanks

My appologies - yes it is there. The sad thing is that I spent a reasonable amount of time going over that panel and still missed it.

Thanks for pointing me at it politely :-/
