I can't see any avatar in my contact list and in chat window too. I use two protocols: msn and Skype.
I installed Skype protocol from rpm repository.

I'm having the same issue on Archlinux (using kdemod packages), KDE 4.3.0. didn't have the issue in 4.2, though.

Hi Roman, thanks for coming back !

I'm using jabber KDE kopete 0.80.2 with KDE 4.3.4, and I see other people avatars, but I don't see mine in discussions. I see the kopete icon instead. I'm pretty sure my avatar is correctly configured, though...

This has now been working for me for a while, now, sorry for not reporting earlier. Closing it, if someone still has the issue, please reopen.
