Version: 1.10.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Mandriva Linux release 2009.0 (Official) for i586)
Compiler: gcc

Most email packages have an option to automatically do a spell check when you press 'send'. This can be an extremely useful function and can avoid the risk of accidentally sending an email full of spelling misteaks.

Why do you need that option if you already have an automatic spell checking while you are typing?
Comment 2 David Todd 2009-04-16 14:30:47 UTC
It is extra security, especially for business and/or formal emails. Even with the auto spell checking there is still the chance you will click 'send' before making the corrections. This is especially true when there is a lot of text in an email, you may not notice one or two errors.
