Version:            (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

Whilst Kopete is running and I want to change status from Invisible (or other status that is online) to Disconnected, Kopete is freezing and I can not click anything. Only helps 'kill -9'.

Which plugins and protocols are you using? 

Also, are you using the Lancelot Plasma Applet?

Have you tried checking KDE 4.3 to see if upgrading helps with this issue?
