I have one panel on the upper and lower screen edge (like in gnome) and the desktop in icons mode. The desktop icons are normally located directly under the upper panel and ordered in the grid automatically.
When I login, the icons get positioned partly behind the upper panel, seeming to fit the physical screen edge (I'm not sure on this). There's a scrollbar on the right and I have to pull them down one raster step so that they are about half an icon height beyond the panel, then I can raise them again to place them in the correct grid starting from the upper panel's lower edge.

Steps to reproduce:
Place one or more icons in desktop mode in the upmost row, let them be arranged automatically in a grid and have a panel on the upper screen edge. Then re-login.

Expected behaviour:
The icons should stay in the row starting from the panel's lower edge.

Seems like one of the bugs is a duplicate of the other, that sounds quite similar.
