I like the new feature of threads in kmail/kde4. but it would be nice, to have the possibility to show messages multiple-times, for example

- mail 2 of thread 1 from today 9:31
- mail 1 of thread 2 from today 9:10
- mail 1 of thread 1 from 3 days ago
---- mail 2 of thread 1 from today 9:31 (this is the same as the first one)

So I would have the advantages of having an overview about the conversation, but new messages would be appear on top, which is also very important.

In the aggregation mode "current activity, threaded" when a new message of a thread arrives, all the thread is on top of the list.

In your example, it is shown like:

- mail 1 of thread 1 from 3 days ago
---- mail 2 of thread 1 from today 9:31 
- mail 1 of thread 2 from today 9:10

Isn't this enough ?

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
