Description Dotan Cohen 2009-04-12 12:16:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

In KDE 4.2.2 I have two panels: one at the bottom and a self-hiding panel at the top of the screen. The context menu for some plasmoids on the top panel is split between the top and bottom of the screen. This occurs inconsistently, and sometimes does not occur. Difficult to reproduce, and unpredictable.

What is the Widget you are right clicking on ? The notes widget? Does this happen with another widget's menus too ?
Thanks

Yes, that was the Notes plasmoid. Here is a screenshot of the issue occuring in an English-language installation with the Notes plasmoid on a bottom panel instead of a top panel. Note that this is a different computer than the first screenshot was, so the issue is reproducible on different machines. Both machines have ATI video cards, if it matters.

Look at bug 162913 / http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2009/01/14/windows-and-global-mapping/
I guess this is related/the-same. What do you think ?

It does not look related to me, but I don't pretend to know very much about Qt. If you say it's the same issue, then I trust you.
