When kget is the downloader of Konqueror, when I click some link that results in a 'save as' dialog box, the dialog box appears, but is not completely drawn: the contents of the directory are not shown, that part of the window remains empty. The mouse cursor becomes a hour-glass and the window manager refuses to do anything (i.e. I can not even select another window). X is completely unusable. The only way out is to switch to the console and work there. The workaround is to kill the kget process. After killing it, everything works again.

The problem does not happen for all links, only sometimes, but if it happens once, it can be reproduced using the same link (after having killed the kget process).

The KDE 3.5 version is not maintained anymre. If you still can reproduce this issue with KDE 4, please open a new report.
