Sentry Crash Report:

Description Christoph Bartoschek 2009-04-08 05:26:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

When I open a combo box by clicking the left mouse button and then hold the button and then go beyond the end, then the contents are not scrolled as I expect it.

One example is the combo box that selects the source of my KDE installation on the first page of a bug report as this one.

This is a Qt regression, I just tested it on Qt3/KDE3, drag selecting a combo box does indeed autoscroll there. I am not sure if the behaviour is/was intended, though.

This bug also appears with Qt 4.5.
Comment 3 Christoph Cullmann 2024-09-14 16:17:25 UTC
Hi,

kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years.

KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish.

If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue.

We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.

Greetings
Christoph Cullmann
