Description Claus Wilke 2009-04-08 00:03:17 UTC
Version: 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2) "release 111" (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2) "release 111", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.19-3.2-default

This bug may be related to Bug 158698, but (i) I cannot reopen that bug, and (ii) I experience problems only in konqueror.

What happens is that the location bar extends beyond the left edge of the window, as shown here: http://bugsfiles.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=32380

How to reproduce: As far as I can tell, this happens only after viewing a web page with embedded pdf document. For example, go to this link: http://www.pnas.org/content/106/13/5123.full.pdf+html
then, after the pdf file opens, zoom in and out of the document with ctrl+mousewheel, and then click on konqueror's back button. At that point, the toolbars get messed up.

When I don't zoom with the mousewheel, I don't always get this problem.

This happens to me with KDE 4.2.2 and qt 4.4.3.

Is this still an issue in more recent releases of KDE, v4.7 or higher ?
