How Do I Get Rid of ? Open with Spreadsheet in the LEFT click window . Correction !! Where I said LEFT click window . I meant RIGHT click window. Hi. This was probably caused by mixing config files from different versions. You can try this: - On Dolphin , right click a XLS file and select "Properties" - In the Properties dialog select the "toolbox" icon on the right of the "Type: " label - On the new sub dialog, click the "Spreadsheet" option and delete it (or move it to the bottom). ("OpenOffice calc" will be on top now) - Click OK This will update your settings about the "xls" files. Opening an XLS file will trigger "OpenOffice Calc" and the "Open in Spreadsheet" option should be gone. You can do this for every file type :) I'm closing this as "INVALID" because it is not a KDE bug but an error in the configurations, probably related to the distro reinstall with the old home configuration files Thanks ! |
