Version:           1.4.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2) "release 110", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.19-3.2-default

Although I have 21 unread article shown in system tray and akregator, they are not displayed. Everything was fine before updating akregator.

witch version of akregator did you upgrade from?

I really can't remember. It was minor upgrade, now I'm using 1.4.2 on kde4. Anyway, I deleted akregator folder from ~/.kde4/share/apps/ and now everything works OK. But on the other side, such things about updating should not occur. This is big annoyance- to remove every setting and subscribed feeds and set it up again, it is a loss of data.
