Telling the picassaweb-plugin all necessary information, it just sits there for hours, without uploading anything.

Maybe the bug is already fixed, but ubuntu did not manage to upgrade to the new digikam and kipiplugin versions that are out in the wild now ...!

does it works with a newer version of ubuntu ? ( or in an other distribution ? )
here i can send images on my picassa album

It was the newest version of Ubuntu! 9.04!
But meanwhile it works. Ubuntu installed a new, fixed version.
