Description Mehrdad Momeny 2009-04-04 16:02:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The problem is about KTextEdit Spell checker dialog!

I discuss it by how to reproduce it:
1. Go to a kmail composer dialog
2. type some text
3. add a link to it (one time add link at last of text, and one time add it not as latest text)
4. Right click on editor, and select "Check Spelling..." to open up spell checking dialog.
5. without any change, just cancel it!
What do you see?

If your link was the latest word, all of text is now link!
And if you link(s) are at the middle of text, all of them removed! and you haven't any link there!

OK, I hope you can feel it :D

I think it applies the formatting of the last word to all the KTextEdit content. in my test the last word had green color and italic style, after cancelling that dialog, this format was applied to the whole text.

it also removes images inserted inside the document, but keeps them if they are the last item in it. and, for lists, it removes list marks from the begining of list items.
