System tray spacing
Spacing is highlighted in screenshot and you can see tooltip showing evolution calendar event details when mouse is moved over blank space.
Reproducible on revision 957428 in trunk. Does bug 190437 seem similar to this one? The systemtray and the notifications changed quite a bit for 4.3 I close this as needsinfo. Feel free to reopen if it can be reproduced with 4.3 Somehow reminders are stopped in evolution recently. I'll check in detail who is culprit and report back when I have calendar reminders working again and what is the status of this issue. It's reproducible on 4.3.0 also. I'll attach screenshot. zombie notification icon
right, so the systray icon still actually exists and evolution is expecting something non-standard to happen. vm ware has a similar issue. Does that mean that it is evolution bug? Now I can confirm it is evolution bug as when I kill evolution using --force-shutdown option, the systray notifications space is cleared. I filed a bug there. Thanks! |
