Version: 1.11.2 (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.28-11-generic

When writing a new message, when I past an url, it is no more converted as a link. The url is displayed as plain text, so that the receiver have to copy/past it...
I mean this feature was working on previous versions ?

I don't remember it was working on past versions. Are you using rich-text on the mail or plain-text ?
Comment 2 schmirrwurst 2009-04-04 14:30:50 UTC
I tied with both
Comment 3 FiNeX 2009-06-27 15:32:50 UTC
It is correct that urls are not converted in links on plain text mails. Instead it could convert an url into a clickable link (<a href="...">...</a>) when composing an HTML mail.

Changed to wish.

Excuse me, but how/where can I choose to use rtf or plain text as mail format in the mail editor? Not that I want to change anything as it works perfectly here, just curious. URLs pasted are always clickable links here after I have saved/send the message. They are just not clickable when I'm in edition mode.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
