From IRC...

I also get a different random sort with these same file names: 10, 5, 7, 11, ..

The author didn't include the following:
The sort in the picture above is Icon Mode, Sort by Name, Ascending

I'm using KDE4 trunk r944788, qt-copy trunk r942255

At least one other person on IRC reported correct sorting on some version of Fedora

Thanks for the bug report! The problem that the "Others" group is not sorted if "Show in Groups" is enabled is known already.
