Version:            (using KDE 4.2.1)
Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

sporadically the kickoff application launcher will not open when clicked. The work around is to right click - switch to classic menu, then switch back, and it will then open when clicked. I am not sure how to provide any sort of debug information so please let me know what I can do to provide more useful information.

I am running 3 monitors and suspect this might also be a part of the problem.

I have this problem as well, KDE 4.2.2, just the one monitor. I'm not sure how to reproduce but in the last two days it's happened three times.

Just had again this problem with 4.2.4 (Gentoo ebuilds)

fixed in 4.3 (don't know if the fix was ever backported to 4.2)
