Description Peter Paulsen 2009-03-27 13:03:30 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It would be great if the calendar plasmoid could use ical files. It then could correspond with korganizer calendar. I'd love to see in the calendar widget the dates marked when I have appointments and by hovering over the date it could display a bubble with the exact appointment terms like start, ending and description. And on clicking on a date in the calendar widget either the korganizer dialog for adding a new appointment should open or a similar simple dialog for just adding start, end and description.

So I could see all relevant dates at one glance (and adding new) without having to open korganizer.

Gdeskcal can do this (but only set a start time, no end time) but it is not looking good in KDE4. And as we now have a calendar plasmoid that sits on the desktop it would be great to really make use of it.
