The following incorrect entry ended up in my fstab somehow:

:none            /proc/bus/usb             usbfs        defaults   0   0

It makes digikam (for instance) lock upon startup. The process consumes 100% cpu, probably there is some error in string tokenizing that?
Removing the ':' fixes the problem.

The bug slipped out of reproducibility for me (I also changed distribution in between). IIRC, most KDE file selectors suffered from this because as soon as I brought them up, the application freezed, if ":none..." was in fstab. kopete is such an example.

If you can't reproduce it, just close please.
