Description Sam Baumhaus 2009-03-25 09:55:00 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When I receive a bigger mail with about 4MB or more (don't know exactly when it gets critical) kmail notifies me that I received a new mail but as soon as I open the IMAP-folder of my mail server it just won't open and I have to close kmail during the attempt to open the inbox of the server. After closing kmail the received mail is lost and not any more on the server. Neither kmail nor the webinterface of my provider can retrieve it.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
