Description Christoph Dalski 2009-03-22 09:32:35 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

kde brings a lot of applications and because of that the menu somethimes seems overloaded

what can you do now to customize it on your needs?

go to menu edit and DELETE the entries you do not need or do not want...

well, thats a possibility - but how to restore entries?

wouldn't it be nice to just "deselect" the entries you do not want instead of delete them...

just with a little checkbox like here:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/images/b/bb/05_IntrospectComponents.jpg

advantages:
- fast
- easy
- user friendly
and more important than anything else
easy for beginners who do not know all the applications around there

hope you like it - sorry for my bad english :-)

regards
c. d.
