Description James 2009-03-21 02:36:52 UTC
Version: 0.8.1 (using KDE 4.2.1)
Compiler: 64 bit
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

May be the image backend (I don't know what okular does).
It can't read the attached png but gimp-2.6 can.
There are other files okular fails on too.

Hi,

Okular is not designed to be a complete image viewer, so we will not make it read more than what the basic images, sorry.
This appears to open fine in Gweview, which is the default KDE 4 image viewer (and provides an advanced image reading).

Basically Okular doen't read any JPEG image with a .png suffix.
But Gwenview does.
Does not Okular use the same KPart with Gwenview?
