Sentry Crash Report:

Description dan.syme 2009-03-18 03:49:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I am running 3 display. if you hold down backspace, arrow keys, or most any key for that matter in one of the non primary screens KDE will crash and restart.

workaround: system settings -> Keyboard & Mouse -> disable keyboard repeat

while this makes life difficult when editing text, at least you don't loose your work.

Does all KDE crash? (the X graphical server crashes and it goes back to the login screen?) or just a KDE application ? (like Plasma)
Thanks

The X server crashes, restarts, and goes back to the login screen. I am experiencing the same thing with Gnome. Here is the Ubuntu bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/324465
I have attached a backtrace from the crash there.

If the problem also exists on GNOME , then , it isn't a KDE bug.
@dan.syme@gmail.com: can you confirm that ?
Thanks
