Description terry 2009-03-17 03:41:48 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1), Gentoo)
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-tuxonice-r3

Screen Edges is very useful, but it's easy to run unexpectedly. Maybe I just want to click Kmenu, and I move the mouse to screen edge, then It's show me Desktop Grid that i have set.

I hope Screen Edges that located in the middle of the screen edges just take effect if Mouse be move to the 1/3 of the middle of the screen edges or there are a place to set a outtime value.

I absolutely agree with terry and I think Compiz solved the problem nicely providing the posibility to trigger the effect if the mouse is on the edge and you click some button (keyboard or mouse buttons).

For example, it is very convenient to rotate the desktop cube on the left and right edges with the mouse wheel.
