The crash sounds similar to the one in bug 175253/ bug 166753 Thanks for reporting I have pretty much the same error when trying to use groupchat functionallity in kopete. But I get an error message saying: "Stream packet received from an invalid address." and my kopete (Version 0.70.2) doesn't crash and I can just reconnect to my xmpp-account. I am using Gentoo Linux, which means that I have builded kopete myself from Source through portage. Same here with debian, kde 4.2.2 and kopete 0.70.2. I can join a groupchat and read message by others, but if I try to send something, I get a protocoll-error, invalid-adress-error and the jabber-connection is disconnetec. *** Bug 166753 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Closing, the disconnection bug is fixed in Kopete from KDE 4.3. The crash has separated bug 204243 |
