Dotan beat me to filing this. Also, see ISO 14755. I am kind-of surprised that i18n requirements haven't already forced implementation of this feature. It does seem overdue. Duplicate of Bug 103788. This is useful for assigning keys (or key combinations) to commonly used Unicode characters. However, it's not so useful for one-off entry of arbitrary symbols. |
