propose to saving space
some way to save space
For the bottom pane: Settings -> Configure KMail -> Look -> Look -> Message structure view -> (x) Show never I know about it. This Message structure view is very important like header, but header we can scroll out. Message structure view is fixed. Min size of this panel is two lines of text. I propose set it to zero lines or move this structrure to header space - like attachments. Created attachment 32143 [details]
KMail in Dolphin flexible panels
Dolphin has flexible panel. We can show or hid without goind to settings window.
We ca drag panels or group with other.
I thing, that this flexiblility will be good for KMail
You already can deactivate the message structure and view attachments inside the header. I think hiding the tabbar is the main remaining wish here. Specifying We can hide tabbar. Hiding the tab bar can be done with prefererences - appearance - message list - show subwindow bar only if needed (german: "Unterfensterleiste für die Nachrichtenliste nur bei Bedarf anzeigen") Unless I missed something, it looks like everything you asked for is implemented. If something is still missing in the latest version of KMail, please open a new bugreport/wish against kmail2. KMail 1 is out of maintenance, especially when it comes to wishes. |
