Description Ph. Marek 2009-03-15 10:14:41 UTC
Version: 1.6.6 (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

I'm often using screen via SSH; I'd think it would be a very nice feature if there'd be a way to tunnel the screen socket to the local running konsole, so that konsole could work as a screen "client" (frontend) - showing all open screen windows in tabs (perhaps sub-tabs from the currently open one, or merged with the others).

Then I could do a single SSH session to a running screen session, and get all open windows available at once.

BTW, switching the windows (then tabs) with hotkeys as in screen would be necessary; the copy/paste mode should be unified with Shift+ PgUp/Down.

Thank you.

Maybe support for tmux, too? http://sourceforge.net/projects/tmux
